The Director of the Institute Prof A.P.Verma has done his B.E. degree from University of Roorkee (IIT Roorkee) and M.E. degree from Birla Institute of Technology and Science Pilani. He has also done MBA from Faculty of management University of Delhi. Besides he also holds PG Diploma in Training and Development from Indian Society for training and Development and PG Diploma in Production Management from Punjabi University Patiala.

Prof Verma has more than 36 years of experience in Teaching, Human Resource Development, Human Resource Management, Human Resource Planning, and Human Resource Information Systems in a prestigious Engineering Institution and also in three public sector undertakings. He has published many papers and prepared many project reports. He has also guided B.E. & M.E. and MBA students on their projects while working with BITS Pilani and elsewhere. While working with Cement Corporation of India Limited Prof Verma wetted hindi translation of Cement Engineers Handbook by Duda which is considered like a bible for the Cement Engineers. Prof Verma has extensively worked on Graphology and prepared many notes on Handwriting Analysis. He attended many training programmes of 1-6 weeks duration at prestigious institutions in the country such as NITIE Bombay, IIM Calcutta, BITS Pilani, Indian Institute of Public Administration New Delhi and TV Rao Learning System Ahamadabad. He has conducted and organized more than 1000 training programmes, while working with various Public Sector Undertakings and also in Private Sector.

After retiring from Tehri Hydro Development Corporation as Additional General Manager (HR), he worked with Birla Institute of Technology and Science Pilani (Rajasthan) and then also worked as Professor & Dean at Hindu College of Engineering Sonepat before joining at Vira College of Engineering Bijnor.
